The hotel is very centrally located which makes it a great spot to stay. However the hotel is tired looking. The lifts are really grubby and need a refresh. the toliets downstairs also need some TLC. I had a lovely complimentary upgrade to a superior room. Just not superior enough. No nespresso machine just sachets of Nescafé and a gritty kettle. No hairdryer until I had to ask for one. Staff were friendly and courteous. The hotel and our room were clean, updated and in great condition. The only ding is that our room did not have a smart TV or other viewing options outside of local TV channels.
