It is an older building, which has its pros and cons - quirky and full of character, though the bathroom area in our room was on the small side. The location is lovely, very close to the waterfront with good views, but the town and its amenities are on the other side of quite a long bridge. Would recommend overall."
"This place was so cute. I only stayed for one night but I wish I had stayed longer. Very clean and cute. You could tell a lot of love and care had been put into the decor. Everything felt cozy and homey. They even had coffee and cookies available in the room. And they provided a little binder full of hiking spots, restaurants, and things to do nearby which was very helpful. If I ever come through this town again o will definitely stay at Madeline’s. "
"This house is beautiful and immaculate and the owner had thought of everything for all ages from high chairs and travel cots to a shower seat in the walk-in shower. The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues. Unfortunately the house itself seems to be the only part of the property that has been renovated and what will be a lovely fairy garden, replete with waterfalls, was marred by construction rubbish. The car paths were awful to drive. I...
"We stayed with our lovely hosts Jo and Jim at their beautiful B&B. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Lovely Jo showed us to our room and it really did exceed expectations. Breakfast was delicious with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs and fresh coffee etc. Jo and Jim went over and beyond to make us feel at home. We will definitely be back. We can’t thank you enough

"Check in was very efficient. The electronic cards to our rooms were already prepared and waiting for us. Although not new, the property was well maintained and everything worked well.
Lee was the receptionist, bartender and waitress and did an outstanding job. Our dinners in the restaurant on site were all very good. Breakfast was made to order and was also excellent. "
"just a one night stay for ferry next morning. check in was a dream. the swimming pool was possibly the best hotel pool sauna steam room and jaccuzi ive ever been to. and the restaurant for dinner warm and friendly. the food was good too.
just a shame we couldn't have the breakfast as the ferry was too early. maybe next time"
