This is a great hotel. It's welcoming and clean. I am very comfortable and have stayed many, many times. My only problem is, I asked for a room with a pool view, but when I got there, I didn't get it. Still, it's always a nice stay.

Not worth the money. Matera is beautiful and unique, very worthing visiting. But the hotel itself was below our expectation, with such an expensive room rate. No kettle to boil hot water, no conditioner in the bath room. The room was decorated as old time "Sassi" but rather too empty and simple. ...

We enjoyed everything about the hotel; friendly staff, convenient location, clean n big room except for 2 things : - the toilet is not enclosed ie it has no door.
