"Great area, but rooms tiny and run down. Bed hard as a slab of stone. Don’t bother with the ‘breakfast’ which is basic and to be consumed only with a plastic fork and plastic spoon (no knife) on a polystyrene plate. Mould in the bathroom. Don’t recommend."

"I chose this place because it had an SG Clean rating. This must have been pre-pandemic as it was pretty icky. Showers were filthy. Reception is never manned and you have to press a button to speak to the owner remotely. I called days in advance to try and tell them I would be arriving after midnight but the phone just rings all day with no one answering it. They put me in a girls dorm because they had overbooked the mixed dorm. Most of the people staying there are south asians who are working or...
