"Visited as we had a family funeral with the wake being held at the Bannatyne hotel. As a family we couldn’t recommend it more, we were given a room upgrade which was lovely. Breakfast was excellent with great choice for everyone. Would definitely stay again."

"My 5th time staying at Trading Boundaries. Always clean and the room has everything you could need. Grounds are lovely, especially nice to sit outside in the sun! Delicious continental breakfast and coffee in the morning. I’ll be back again soon!"

"Very comfortable bed, good mattress. Staff were helpful in reception for advise on bus connections. Very good selection for breakfast. Two negatives Main entrance has steps, no ramp for wheelchair access or walkers. Toilets in main bar area and lounge are down two flights of stairs."

"Wide choice of fresh food with all amenities easy to use or staff onhand to assist, and therefore, we looked forward to our breakfast every morning. Set up for the day. Staff even taking us to our room after arriving a little earlier than expected with our cases. All was clean, spacious and comfortable in the room. Lovely shower. Plenty of clean towels. Storage enough for the two of us. Staff always happily noted our return and departure. Very helpful about the area. Reliable and friendly. "

"Registration was cursory. Certainly not rude, just “fill in your details and here’s your key.” No offer of assistance for two seniors to carry suitcases up narrow stairs. No further information offered. Room was adequate. Shower is traditional British style - in a very high narrow tub, very dangerous for seniors in my opinion. Notice in room that no outside food allowed, and may result in an additional charge. Overall good value for money, but more of a two star than a three star hotel. "

"A lovely setting unfortunately full of golfers but as it's a golf club it is to be expected 😀 We had a car accident the day before we were due to leave and the lovely receptionist Anna was so helpful with giving us a free extended checkout time. The room was lovely, I wasn't overly overwhelmed by the menus available but the breakfast choices were excellent. All in all we had a lovely time and I would definitely recommend Dale Hill"

"Quiet hotel Friendly staff Clean room. Good shower.East to use Comfortable bed. The fan was a nice idea! To improve .. Car park.Very small and difficult to get in and out of. Poor conteninental breakfast choice. Expensive for what you got."

"Incredible location across from the beach. Room was spacious and had a view of the beach and the pier. These older buildings don’t have AC but a fan was provided as was a small portable fridge. We didn’t try the bar or restaurant so we can’t rate those. We forgot some important items in our room on checkout and the staff were amazing. They contacted us right away when they found the items and offered to have a staff member deliver them to us. Really helpful."

"Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and as described. SPA facilities including our messages were lovely. The only thing that prevented us from scoring the hotel as good was our experience for dinner at the Hunnington Restaurant, where we had a reservation for dinner. With temperatures in the mid 30's Celsius, we were surprised to find the restaurant had zero air conditioning, meaning the room was like a furnace. "With parking on site and a bus stop outside, this was a great place to stay and good value for money. The building is a little tired, but the staff are helpful and the breakfast was excellent. I would stay again as is very convenient for visiting Brighton."
