Fish Lake

I did see some ice sheets broken apart on the shoreline and and had to go down to take a look.

Fish Lake itself was still mostly frozen over. I was even able to walk out on part of it. I really wish I could have spent more time here, but all I brought on this trip was a long sleeve shirt and some pants. So I was freezing.

meandering my way across Utah I drove up to Fish lake. At 8900 feet I was not expecting to drive through a Blizzard. But that is exactly what I drove through. I was literally giddy. Escaping summer heat, it was only May but still, and climbing to where the snow was still falling. I hadn't been in a good snow in years, so this was a very welcome sight.
