"We loved our stay. The hotel was cosy and quiet and, as a mum and teenage daughter, we felt safe. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The location is only a few minutes walk from the stations and the old town and main attractions and the bus system is brilliant. We would definitely stay again. Tips to make it even better (but wouldn't stop us from staying again)-a mirror in the room would make it quicker for two women both wanting to do hair and makeup rather than waiting for the bathroom. Also the bathroom sink is huge so myself being short and short-sighted, couldn't get close enough to the mirror to do makeup. We really wanted a light breakfast at the hotel but couldn't justify the price for how much we'd eat. Maybe tiered pricing for smaller and larger breakfasts would be good."

"A cosy ,simple, single, room with every little detail though of - and had an Austrian feel - not just the ‘standard.’ Could not have been any cleaner. Central. Friendly, helpful staff. I was on my own - a few days stay - and did not need to use the restaurant but I could see it was busy - what better recommendation?"

Leonardo Boutique Hotel Salzburg Gablerbräu

"Our stay at the Leonardo Boutique was very nice. The staff messaged in advance to let us know that there was a lot of construction around the city. At my request, they sent a map with the directions mapped out on it. It is in the old town with bollards preventing cars from entering at certain times of the day. You must call them when you arrive for a code to lower the bollard. This allows unloading right at the door. Parking is a 5 to 10 min walk away. There is a free pass for city transportation during your stay. Reception was not a smiling welcome, but they were very businesslike and got us checked in quickly and printed off transportation passes for us as soon as they were able. They also gave some nice suggestions for restaurants in the area. The rooms were immaculate and the bathroom was a nice size with a larger shower. Our room was on the stuffy side and the air conditioning and fan did not seem to help with the stuffiness. We opened the window most evenings for some cool air. We did have a visit by a couple of bees one morning but other than that the open window solved the stuffy room. Breakfast was good with a wide variety to choose from but is not included with your dtay. Would definitely consider staying there again."
