"The property was beautiful. Stream runs through the property, and we did a bit of fishing but no luck! All staff was friendly and accommodating. Amenities were so NICE! We used two of the hot tubs, one by the creek and one on the deck, very nice! Sauna was in use so unable to use. So many lakes close by! Lots of hiking areas. We did picnic on the grounds. The only negative was breakfast was the same for 3 days straight and the egg casserole was rubbery, bacon and hash browns way overcooked...

"The river view was perfect. Was on the 2nd floor and slept with the sliding door open to hear the river all night long. "

"Realy a great stay - while the building itself is not new, it is in great shape, very clean and retains some of the "older" hotel features like a spacious room. Great location for easy walk to downtown. Staff were clearly invested in the quality of our stay. Appreciated the offer to stay an additional nite for half price (although probably something offered only during low season."

"Spacious room. Great view. Nice hot shower. The quality of breakfast was unfortunately lacking. The fact that the only refrigerator, coffee machine and water dispenser are in the service room downstairs is quite inconvenient; and the “hot tub” was outside of the building in the open area made it practically unusable during Colorado winter. Peaceful having the room on the water and opening our patio door to hear the creek/river. Staff was great and accommodating. "This was my second stay at Nicky's Resort and it did not disappoint yet again. The River King ("Deluxe" as Expedia refers to it) cabin/room is a very comfortable stay. The instructions for accessing the room and any other necessary info. was communicated efficiently via email. I even called a few days ahead to confirm things and the lady was very helpful and assuring. Lovely stay next to the river and the Wapiti bar/restaurant next door was nice. "This property is absolutely beautiful. Make sure you stay in the two bedroom via, it overlooks the river - it also has a bubble bath/Jacuzzi. Absolutely, breathtaking, massive very spacious and open. Let me tell you, the staff there is also incredible. The woman that checks you in and takes care of the front reception area is such a delight, we were amazed at how sweet and helpful she was with recommendations for local places. The place that we rented was spotless absolutely clean and beautiful....

"Only stayed one night, so don't have a ton to say in terms of laundry and such. However, the property was very clean and instructions were easy to follow. I will say, the $75 early check in for only two extra hours seemed insanely priced to me. Also, the photos were very misleading as well. We had no choice but to do early check in as we were going to a wedding and had to be there at 3:30 PM when check-in was at 4 PM. The value for early check-in was definitely not worth it and would not pay for...
