We had a mixed stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the room was very small with very little ventilation. We had one small window, but it openend onto the street, so the choice was a hot stuffy room or a warm noisy room. Not a great choice in the warm summer months.

One step up from a hostel

Clean but small rooms, narrow beds, tight quarters, and thin walls … could easily hear next room’s conversations. Condensation on windows and dehumidifier. Entrance serves as pub in the evening. Excellent location, with easy access to buses, restaurants, nightlife, and the old town. Very pleasant staff.

Das Hotel ist toll gelegen. Sowohl die Flensburger Förde als auch die Innenstadt mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind in wenigen Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir haben ein kostenloses Upgrade auf ein größeres Doppelzimmer erhalten. Wir haben gut geschlafen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das schon um 6:30 Uhr beginnende Frühstück in Buffetform war für uns sehr gut und völlig ausreichend. 2 Kaffeeautomaten standen zur Verfügung. Sollten wir noch einmal Urlaub in Flensburg machen, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder im Hotel am Fjord übernachten.

Klein & knus hotel, vriendelijk personeel. Het interieur is wat gedateerd. Alles schoon en nieuwe badkamer. Heerlijk ontbijt buffet. Veel eetgelegenheden in de buurt en het Fjord op loopafstand met gezellige barretjes en restaurants. Zeer goed gegeten bij Macedonia aan de overkant van het hotel.
