Great location at center of Florence yet very close to the train station! Very quiet at night, much needed after long days of bus tours etc. Bed was very comfortable, linens very soft The buffet breakfast was great. The coffee served by staff was delicious and also serving Americano coffee exceptional! Best of all, the staff work very hard to maintain the exceptional comforts of this hotel. Following up with how the room is, and always willing to help including the cleaning ladies for rooms! Work ethic, above and beyond for the travellers. Great hotel, best staff! Thank you for making our first time stay in Florence exceptional!

The staff at the front desk are simply marvelous. Kind, helpful with check in. Ronnie checked us in and suggested a place for lunch and made the reservation for us. It was definitely a locals only type of trattoria and the food was excellent. The location was very close to the SMN train station. This does account for some noise on that facing side of the property. We had an 8 am flight and had no trouble arriving to the airport on time. Great staff, clean and comfortable rooms. The location next to the train station was ideal for luggage storage when we continued to Pisa. The hotel is so friendly and the breakfast was very good. I would definitely stay again just because of the reception and staff. Not as upscale as our apartment in Rome but my favourite so far due to outstanding service. No problem storing luggage before and after stay. Wish we had stayed longer.
