"We stayed at H4 Hotel in Paris and had a very pleasant experience. The best part was its location directly opposite a metro station, which made getting around the city extremely convenient. While there isn't much to do in the immediate surrounding area, a 20–30 minute metro ride takes you to the city center, which was our main goal during this trip. As a family traveling with a child, we didn't want to stay in a tiny, cramped hotel room, so we chose this hotel for its spacious accommodations. The room was large, clean, and well-maintained, and the hotel was professionally managed. The bathroom was spotless, and the toiletries provided were of good quality. Considering that we visited Paris in mid-May, the hotel was reasonably priced and offered excellent value for money. We appreciated having a comfortable room with air conditioning and a clean environment, rather than paying a similar price for a small, overcrowded hotel room with no AC and no elevator. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Paris, and H4 Hotel provided a comfortable and relaxing place to return to each day. I would definitely recommend it to travelers looking for good value, space, cleanliness, and easy access to public transportation."

"I had a great week-long stay at CitizenM Gare de Lyon! I was in Paris for a week-long academic conference during what turned out to be an extraordinary heat wave. While colleagues staying at the conference hotel (from another well-respected hotel chain) complained about the lack of good air-conditioning, I was fresh as a daisy in CitizenM's excellent a/c. I also appreciated the great filtered water tap in the bar/breakfast area, where I filled up my water bottle morning and evening. If you've stayed at a "capsule" hotel like CitizenM before, you'll know what to expect: rooms that are small but well designed, with a place for just about everything. The water pressure and temperature in the bathroom was excellent, and everything was clean. I paid for breakfast everyday, and it was fantastic -- a good selection of croissants as well as fruit, yogurt, granolas, juice, a range of bacon and eggs, and coffee to order in your preference. The multilingual staff was always friendly and helpful. The hotel is a block away from the Metro and trains at Gare de Lyon, but is also a short walk from other subway lines at Gare d'Austerlitz and Bercy. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"We had a good stay. The staff were efficient and the amenities good. Breakfast was great and a good variety of dairy free / gluten free options too. Please note, the swimming pool and changing rooms are quite dated and look MUCH bigger in the pictures. Location is good near Eiffel tower, shops and smaller restaurants. Room was dated and in need of a refresh but we really appreciated the blackout curtains and aircon in a May heatwave!"
Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel

"The property grounds is dirty. Garbage is all over the front of the hotel. The phone in the room is not working. Was brought to the attention of the front desk but never been address. Requested for the room to be cleaned early in the morning. Put the sign at the door and also informed the receptionist and came back at 245pm but still not clean. Saw the cleaning gentleman on the floor of our room and told him. Went out to grab something to eat and came back after 2 hrs and still not cleaned. I went to the receptionist and told her and she called the cleaning person to clean it. The only thing good in this hotel is the location. Other than that, I don't recommend this hotel to anyone."

"I didn’t get sleep that night due to the disruptions of the football game. Fireworks and ambulance were going off all night and I didn’t sleep till 4 am and I had to check out at 11 am."
Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel

"I came at 4 to check in because that’s what it says check in time is… they couldn’t get me in my room until 4:25 after I complained. The frame which is the restaurant inside of the hotel… customer service is horrible. No one greets you we say for a good 15 minutes before we were finally offered a drink from the bar. I paid $180 to have someone bring me champagne and macaroons with rose pedals to our room at 9am…. Didn’t come until 9:50 and we then had to rush because we had to catch a train. I’ve stayed at other hotels in Paris that I would give 10/10 this one is over priced only because of the view. It is not worth cost."
