"The historic hotel, and its location make a perfect stay in Shrewsbury. Easy access to the great towns pubs, restaurants and shops. The staff are helpful and your stay will be great. My only consideration and negative comment would be the creaking ceilings. Ok it’s old and you expect that a bit. ..."

"Very quaint old building; rooms a little small but comfortable and clean; staff at the bar were really helpful and efficient; food was very good; can't fault the place, provided every thing we needed.
