The Battle of Chickamauga, fought September 18–20, 1863, marked the end of a Union offensive in southeastern Tennessee and northwestern Georgia called the Chickamauga Campaign. The battle was the most significant Union defeat in the Western Theater of the American Civil War and involved the second-highest number of casualties in the war following the Battle of Gettysburg. It was the first major battle of the war that was fought in Georgia.

"Room was clean, quiet, and spacious. Toilet paper was in weird spot and shower was slick. Bagel bar for breakfast with cereal options, breakfast area needed restocked sooner. No milk / oatmilk, low bagels, and coffee was low. Parking was well lit. Staff was friendly. Well decorated. Enjoyed our stay!"

"The staff was friendly and check-in was easy. The room was clean with comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. While we didn’t eat there, they had a yummy looking restaurant on site that is open 24 hrs. "
