"The room was very clean and furnishings towels and bedding of good quality. The decor was rather bland maybe a few bright pictures and a colourful throw . The service was faultless at both dinner and breakfast. The food at dinner was very good . Breakfast food was good quality but was very overcooked. ..."

"Good location and reasonably pet friendly. Whilst the room itself was in good order the en-suite requires an upgrade and a thorough clean to remove mould from edges of the shower tray and tiles. Overall the hotel is tired and requires a refurbishment. The staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Genuine old-fashioned charming hotel, in a good way. They don’t make them like this anymore sadly. Cannot fault it. Will return for a longer winter stay."
