Wow what a beautiful hotel! Rio Perdido offers quiet luxury in a very natural environment. The staff were fantastic- nothing was too much trouble and they were so friendly and kind. We stayed n an eat bungalow which was perfect for a couple or family of 3- huge bed, couch to chill on, lots of storage, good size bathroom and cute deck with hammocks where we sat and watched the monkeys playing in the trees. The food was delicious with lots of choices for all meals and daily specials. The...

one of a kind experience in the hills of Bijagua. Great concept, and a neat trail built by the owners to see the surrounding areas. 10/10

We really enjoyed our stay of two nights, the staff could not have been more helpful. The hotel is set in large gardens full of wild life as is the surrounding area. Great views from the dining/lounge areas and the dining arrangements afforded the opportunity of meeting fellow travelers. Excellent place to stay, the owners were very welcoming and made our stay a pleasure

The location in the forest was excellent as were the staff and great to wake up to the dawn chorus of the wildlife.

Heart of Palm cooking class and tasting was superb. I wish hotel had some king of "manual" for emergency cases. I was travelling with Diabetic child and had no idea how far/close was hospital etc.

Borinquen has wonderfully landscaped grounds (with armadillos and other animals roaming around) built into geothermal area – and featuring a natural sauna seating on top of a bubbling hot spring, excellent muds for the skin and natural hot springs as well as short trails through the geothermal area. The spa looks very good but unfortunately closes early (last appointment 1600). Wifi in the restaurant only. The zipline (canopy) tour around hotel grounds is excellent. The restaurant serves very...
