"Our stay at Quinta da Faísca was truly magical and one of the absolute highlights of our trip! We loved being there in the off-season, when everything was peaceful, quiet, and almost surreal. The location is spectacular, with breathtaking vineyard views from every room. Morning coffee overlooking the vines and evening wine as the sun went down were moments we will never forget. Casa de São Domingos

Crisol Régua Douro

8/10 Good

"The staff was the star of the stay, above and beyond all the way. The balcony overlooking the river is a must!"

The Manor House Celeirós

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel was fabulous. Breakfast was delicious. But the dinner restaurant was very expensive for the portions they serve."

Quinta Vale de Lobos Douro

10/10 Excellent

"A truly lovely place to stay! One of the best hotel views EVER. Very friendly staff, well-maintained and new rooms. And did I mention the views? Fewer frills than some of the bigger properties in the Duoro, but peaceful, comfortable and friendly. Highly recommended!"

Quinta de Casaldronho Wine Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"It was a nice experience, the hotel was nice a little far but quite nice and the staff were very helpful and very kind all the time Breakfast was good 😊"

Quinta São José do Barrilario

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing experience. Could do with a better wine tasting but we really enjoyed it. Vitor was amazing, definitely speak to him about your wine at dinner. The most stunning mountain and river views with great climbs nearby"

Torel Quinta da Vacaria - Douro Valley

10/10 Excellent

"Great spot to unwind and enjoy the local wine and area."

Vila Gale Douro Vineyards Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The property is stunning!!! The views are indescribable - you have to see for yourself to really experience. Traveled with group of 6 - late 50s, early 60s (good physical shape overall)....I will say that there are TONS of steps to get anywhere and if you are unable to do a lot of steps (I mean TONS) - this is not the property for you. If you are able to do steps you have to see this place! One thing that I'll remember is Eduardo helping us check in saying "this is your home for your stay.....treat it as such and enjoy all that the property offers"......The snack bar is meh. The breakfast buffet more than satisfying...."

Original Douro Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Staff were amazing, location right in centre of town. Wonderful breakfast. A great stay."
