"Absolutely amazing stay during our bikepacking trip through Italy and Slovenia. We arrived at the hotel way before the check-in started, but the staff members were super helpful and allowed us to leave our bicycles in a safe area while waiting for the room to be ready for us. "We arrived very early but Leah allowed us to check in immediately and she opened the dining area in case we were hungry. She spent a long time on her phone arranging transportation for us for very early the next morning. The building is old, but the rooms were more than adequate and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor veranda was a perfect spot to enjoy wine and cheese from a nearby grocery store."

"We arrived from out of country nearly four hours before check-in. We were allowed to store our luggage and grab some lunch while our room was prepared. Our room was spotless clean and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast each morning included in the price was very nice. Would stay here again if we return to Trieste."

"We received instruction on how to get into the apartment. The bath towels were minimal. we never had any contact by the host other than email. Maybe it’s the European way, but I thought that was very odd. I called because the TV was not working and I felt as if I was interrupting the host. The accommodations were fine. Overall, if ever in Triest again, we would certainly contact Ghiberti again. The price was very reasonable."
