"The customer service from the staff was top-notch. With every interaction it is very clear that the staff care about the customer experience. They are helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They try very hard to meet the needs of the customers. For example, when we checked-in a staff member helped us with our bags as we were staying on the 3rd floor, and when I left my make-up bag behind they arranged for it to be mailed to me. Other highlights include the delicious breakfast that was included. The scones were warm and delicious! The house is charming with a wrap-around deck which is lovely for sitting to sip your morning coffee. The house is about a 10 minute walk to the waterfront so it is very conveniently located.
The house is old and does not have air conditioning. We stayed in July during a heatwave. There was an air-conditioning unit in the room that vented out the window. It was very noise and disruptive to sleeping. Additionally, the bed was tiny. It was definitely not the queen size we expected. There is no fridge in the room. The bathroom is very tiny and there is no counter space to put your belongings. Parking is limited and you might have to park on the street if you do not get a space.
Overall, excellent customer service, but the room needs some upgrades."
