"Absolutely beautiful property! Loved seeing all the historic buildings. We had a late check in and early check out so we unfortunately didn’t meet any of the staff but the property was incredible and very well kept. We were given excellent instructions via text messages on how to do self check in/out. I enjoyed walking my dog early in the morning along the river and around the grounds. Perfect stay if you are traveling with a dog. We will absolutely be back for a longer stay!"

"Front door to my room was filthy how can a hotel allow that...the patio has bees you could not go outside. The hotel should have screens so you can enjoy the view"

"We stayed 2 nights. The AC in the room was very loud, carpet and floor didn't seem like they were swept/vacuumed. The stopper in the bathroom sink was broken. We were woken up at 6 by the fire alarm because something had burned in the kitchen. We asked for clean towels one morning and never got them. We have stayed here before and it seems like the hotel isn't kept as well as it used to be. The pool was the best part of our stay."

"Was only there for one night, but overall the stay was good. The staff was friendly & welcoming. The breakfast was good: bacon instead of sausage only would’ve been great. Parking was a little tight due to contractors large pickups taking up almost 2 spots."

"We booked this place as a one-night stop during our trip up through the hill country and we quickly regretted not staying longer! The property is nestled in a really nice, quiet area. They have hiking trails near by (which we love), a little shop on-site and a nice hang-out area. We booked a basic cabin, which had bunk beds and a double bed with only a mini-fridge which was just fine for us. The cabin was really clean and the beds were comfortable. This is a place we are really hoping to get a chance to get back to, once the weather warms up a bit."
