"We had good hopes of this hotel, the reviews are pretty mixed up, So here's my personal take on a two day booking experience, first thing we did at check in was reserve the so called underground "natural" thermal water pool / SPA, to my surprise it was just a pool under the premises with lots of water jets and cascades for body massage, in company of about 10 to 15 people at a time with a strong smell of chlorine. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and was really disappointed with the food, we ordered the best to dishes recommend by our waiter and it was almost inedible. The AC in the room was not working right and got really Hot at night & the bed was incredibly Hard, I only got 1 hour of sleep. The next morning we told the front desk about the room being so hot, and they turned the AC ON and it sounded super loud, I have the audio, I guess thats why they didn't turn it on all night. We checked out a day early and they said we couldn't get a refund cause we booked it thru Expaedia.
Lastly I want to point out that the hotels premises are beautiful and nicely renovated with Big potential. Is just poorly managed :("
"El entorno es espectacular, ideal para desconectar y disfrutar de la tranquilidad de la Ribera del Duero. Despertar con vistas a los viñedos fue una experiencia inolvidable.
Las instalaciones están muy cuidadas, las habitaciones son cómodas y limpias
Recomiendo este hotel al 100%"
"El hotel una preciosidad, el desayuno de lujo y la atención de Ashley y Carmen excelente. Muchas gracias por todas vuestras atenciones. Recomendable cien por cien."
"Hotel was in a great position in town and had a good sized room and bed
. Our stay included breakfast but instead of a buffet breakfast at the hotel it was in the cafeteria next door attached to the hotel. It wasn't clear for a foreign traveller as to what we could have as it wasn't a buffet. A piece of paper with some clear choices would have been helpful. What we got was fine and adequate but the process detracted from the ambiance of the hotel."
"Unique, kitschy but not overdone. Honestly, probably the best themed hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Don’t skip dinner! And go for the premium wine tasting + tour. Spa was fun more than relaxing, but we did fall asleep at the end. Like an adult water park."
