"My husband and I had an absolutu fantastic stay here for 3 nights - it's the perfect base to explore the island while being located close to Ishigaki centre for great food options and amenities. The swimming pool was a fantastic length to do laps in, and the buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of western and Asian options. Our room was spotless with a beautiful view over the ocean. We will definitely be coming back to stay again! "

"We loved the privacy. That is what you’re paying for here. You are completely away from the world in this little tropical dream. The pool was amazing. We also liked snorkeling at blue cave and didn’t mind that it seems to be used for tour guides. I felt better being in the ocean with a few people around. Then back to the solitude of our house. "Great location and accommodating to foreigners. Worth booking if you are looking for a "apartment hotel" with a kitchen and space to do your own thing. Imagine the space and number of beds would be a great benefit for larger groups. Bear in mind there is no check in staff to assist unless directly requested. But this was what we looked for so worked well!"

"We loved our time at Cago Guest House. My husband and I stayed for two nights and wish we stayed longer. Taketomi is a beautiful, quiet island and Cago is the perfect place to stay and enjoy it. The owners, a husband and wife, are lovely. We opted for the dinner both nights (breakfast was included) and all the food was fantastic. Highly recommend this place!"
