"The room had very worn bedding and towels,exposed electrical wires,no plug for sink, and very rusty waste bin, but the most distressing thing was my son saw a rat in the kitchen.l feel we should be entitled to at least a refund."

"You open the gate and step into a little garden oasis. Room was Large and comfortable and clean.
Mr Gomez and His staff were very friendly.
Breakfast was good fruit plate/juice/coffee/omlete/toast
Note: hotel guest are primarily gay men"

"It’s a house near the national museum in an area with many embassies. We arrived during cyclone ditmah so there were lots of fallen trees and water but still found it walkable. Staff were friendly and able to arrange tuktuk ride. Breakfast was our first experience of Sri Lankan food and was serviceable in retrospect. There are many cafes nearby. "
