"This is an older property in a fishing town. It was quiet and clean. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The pool was refreshing after a hot morning of fishing."
"The room was spacious with a king and two full size beds. We did find a bug on one of the beds along with a few ants on the wall next to it. We had the option for the other two beds, so it was not a dealbreaker - though some may not agree.
Breakfast had options, though my 9 year old wasn’t impressed - idk how helpful There were scrambled eggs, sausage links, waffle maker, yogurt, cereal options.
A few other issues:
- Questionable working electric outlets (the ones attached to the bed frame) didn’t work at all times
- Phone in the room wasn’t working/no dial tone
- No entry with card on east entrance (we had to prop the door open when we were unloading/loading our vehicle) we parked near that entrance so we would be able to see our car from our room
- Shower head/water pressure was lacking
- I’m not sure what the pool cleaning schedule was but it didn’t seem like the filters were pulling anything out of the water /pool water seemed cloudy
- ice machine wasn’t dispensing much ice (I was able to get a cup or so when I needed ice for my cooler)
Overall, I did like the location and the room itself so I would come back. (But it would not be my first choice.)"
"Our room was very clean, the AC was supper cold we had it set on 72 degrees but it felt like 65. I called the office once before our stay and they answered right away. When checking in the lady was very polite. We already planed a second trip. Plenty of parking too."
"It was a beautiful place to stay right there on the bay. Paula and staff were exceptional. My wife and I really enjoyed our time there at the peaceful pelican."
