The staff were friendly, kind and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The area around the hotel didn't have many facilities but overall, our one night stay was very good value for money.

The hotel is very close to free way 101 and the redwoods state park. Hence we chose this hotel. It is very quiet though it's close to the free way 101, that's what I like this hotel the best. The staff was nice when we checked in. The room is big, the shower and hot water are very good. Only issue is we found some long hairs on the bed and floor, which are obviously belong to us. So I double how was the cleaning did before.

The staff was very nice. Room super clean, newly decorated and painted. Very nice rooms and good value. There was a bigger than a tiny fridge. The one thing I would say is when you don't have a full house you can spread guests out. We had someone right over top of us both nights that was stomping around and very noisy. There was no reason to put someone in the room right over us with most rooms empty. There were only four cars the first night, five the second night, and I think they had 16 or 18 rooms. During the slow season, you have the luxury of spacing people out, so there's rooms in between and it's quieter for everyone. Thank you. Overall a great stay!

Very clean rooms, good beds, pleasant staff, older building that is well maintained. Can be pretty noisy because of stairs and “Taco Tuesday” at bar next door. Bar food is very good, though. (Get the wings!!) Great pizza, beer and salads at Lost Frenchman down the street. Excellent coffee at Signature Coffee co-op roastery, also down the street. Good location for exploring the redwoods.

Super friendly

Front desk staff stayed up until 2 am to make sure we were checked in, even tho we called ahead to let them know we were running late. Super friendly and accomodating. Room was clean. Bar next door seems to be the place to be for more adult fun.

Location is beautiful! Neighbors???

The room was very charming and comfortable. Friendly staff and the rate was very affordable given the proximity to the redwood's state park. The floor could have been cleaner, but we have stayed in far worse. The nearby neighborhood is a bit rundown and the bar next door was a bit sketch on the night we were there.

Northern Inn

Comfortable bed, great big tv but internet was sport. Fridge and coffee in the room. Quite at night. The resultant/ bar next door- the brass rail was very good, Rodeo burger with avocado and the wedge salad was excellent. Great price for 1 night’s stay.
