"We loved our stay here, the guest house is spotless, the shared bathroom has a great shower, very clean, the bed was comfy, the couple who run it are lovely, lady explained all the places to visit and gave us a map, you can have something to eat when you like, toast, cereal, tea or coffee all day, we made cheese and ham toasties at the end of a long day walking round Porto, it was a welcome extra. I would happily stay here again as it was fantastic. "

"The front of the property was completely under construction. Had to walk thru construction to get to the property and the area seemed to have a bunch of abandoned buildings. My partner did not feel very safe. However the room itself was exceptionally clean and functional albeit cramped. "

"Several of the staff were very friendly and helpful. One young lady at reception even remembered my first name the day after checking in. The gentlemen working at reception and at the restaurant were also very pleasant and helpful. The initial person who checked us in wasn’t very pleasant and one lady working in the restaurant seating people was not cooperative or pleasant. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff at breakfast were very attentive."

"Check-in was easy with 24h reception. Pedro, the owner is a cool guy, offered me a glass of Porto wine and upgraded me to a bigger room. The rest of the staff doesn't exactly shine in smiling but all good. Room felt clean, spacious and seemed recently renovated. Bed and pillows were super comfortable (if you like them on the harder side like I do) and the bathroom is small but essential and pretty clean. Area may seem far for the center but it's very walkable and quiet too. I'd definitely go back"
