"I arrived on a Monday but was disappointed to learn the restaurant was shut. Had to drive back into Düren for food. Germany doesn't seem to like Mondays! Hotel is good, if not slightly tired, but very clean and I slept well. My Monday evening disappointment was short lived following a very welcoming and wonderful breakfast. Very nice staff."
"Not especially pleased to discover we had chosen their "Ruhetag" to stay here - no food or other service this day.
Luckily the lady there could recommend another place to eat that night.
They are, however, still willing to accept full prices for overnights."
"Frisch renoviertes Hotel nach der Flut. An einigen Stellen sind noch Kabel zu Essen, was aber nicht stört. Tolle Sitzgelegenheiten drinnen und draußen. Gute Barkarte für den Abend mit normalen Preisen. Kaffee umd Wasser kann mam sich umsonst holen. Frühstück war standardmäßig (Brötchen, Eier, Speck, etwas Wurst/Käse/Salami, Obst, Joghurt). Das Hotel liegt zentral im Dorf."
"Fantastisch! Mooi strak hotel. Zo goed als nieuw. Lekkere bedden, ruime douche met grote douchecabine, mooie kitchinette (electrisch koken). Koelkastje met vriesvak (ijsjes!). We hadden koffiecups meegenomen maar er stond een 'Nespresso Pro' - machine dus helaas andere cups. Deze waren wel te koop in het hotel maar met 1,50 per stuk iets te prijzig. Lang leve de oploskoffie. Lidl dichtbij en het winkelcentrum was ook op loopafstand. Wij gingen echter voor de stad Keulen. Goed te doen met de...
"Convenient to get to Merode. Unfortunately we stayed the night there was a large group also staying and there was a lot of noise. We were also mostly unable to use the kitchen because the group that was staying kind of took it over. Parking and access was a bit tricky, as another guest had parked in two spots, so we had to find a place a few blocks away. The keypad for the door was a bit sensitive. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable."
"We arrived after a long day at Phantasialand, the castle was beautiful, easy to find and the check in was automated and very straight forward.
We stayed with children in the junior suite and it was amazing, well equipped, warm and very upmarket."
"Stayed here with a couple of friends during the European Championships and they made our experience easy. Very friendly hosts, who helped us check in early when we arrived the morning of England’s group game in Frankfurt so a fair travel, but were extremely accommodating and meant we were able to get to the match early. Stayed here for the rest of the tournament and was a nice hub to travel to neighbouring cities. Thankyou!"
"Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area though we were on foot backpacking and unfortunately there was no evening food available so we didn’t eat as it was a walk back into town.
Nice area to explore either walking or cycling and was very close to walk to the ferry on Rursee to go on to Rurburg. "
