"We chose this hotel mainly because we were visiting Georgetown Loop Railroad the next day, and the location was very convenient. It was only about a five-minute drive away, which made our trip much easier.
There were not many dining options nearby, but the lake next to the property was beautiful. We booked a two queen bed room, which felt a bit small, and I think the one king rooms might be more comfortable. The lake view from the window was not quite what we had imagined, but it was still pleasant.
When we first entered the room, there was a strong odor. After airing the room out for a while and using some air freshener, it became much better, and we decided not to bother changing rooms. Aside from that, the room was generally clean and had everything we needed.
One thing we really enjoyed was the breakfast. There was a good variety of options, and we especially liked that they offered Chobani yogurt.
Another highlight was the hot tub. We really enjoyed relaxing in it after a long day, and it was very soothing and refreshing. If you’re planning to stay here, I would definitely recommend bringing a swimsuit so you can take advantage of it. It was a great way to unwind.
Overall, it was a decent place for a one-night stay, and the convenient location, good breakfast, and relaxing hot tub were definitely the highlights."
