A rustic hotel with breathtaking seaviews. A simple hotel but very clean and run by a lovely family. 1/2 a mile to the town but lovely and quiet. Highly recommended.

Kleines Hotel mit viel Flair

FĂŒr ein 2 ** Hotel aussergewöhlich. Die Möbilierung der Zimmer in der Mansarde ist einfach, aber zweckmĂ€ĂŸig und in guten Zustand. Die Betten fand ich super. Das ganze Haus ist aufgerĂ€umt und sauber geputzt. Das Hotel wirkt sehr gepflegt. Unschlagbar ist die FrĂŒhstĂŒcksterrasse mit Blick aufs Meer! Die Inhaber und das Personal waren sehr freundlich und haben uns stets weitergeholfen. Einziges Manko wĂ€hrend unseres Aufenthalts war, dass Jugendliche nachts vor dem Hotel sehr laut waren. Aber dafĂŒr kann die Hotelleitung natĂŒrlich nichts. Ich kann das Hotel allen empfehlen, die eine schöne Lage schĂ€tzen und eine familiĂ€re AtmosphĂ€re und dafĂŒr Abstriche beim Komfort in Kauf nehmen.

Fantastic balcony 30ft x30ft with great views.

Hotellet var precis det vi vÀntat oss, men lite till. Spenderade fyra nÀtter hÀr tillsammans, och kan i efterhand sÀga att det Àr den bÀsta resa vi varit pÄ. Mycket tack vare hotellet. VÀrdparet Àr helt fantastiska och alltid tillmötesgÄende samt serviceminded. Allt inom lÀtt promenadavstÄnd, fantastisk utsikt, enkel men bra frukost. Man hör havet trots stÀngda fönster, vilket vi uppskattade. Kanske inte nÄgot för en person med svÄrigheter att somna dock.

Pas de chichi dans cet Ă©tablissement mais un confort de base largement suffisant et de trĂšs bon rapport qualitĂ© prix. Giardini Naxo est une ville touristique et en connait tous les travers, prix Ă  la hausse, grosse frĂ©quentation de gens pas respectueux. Mais Ă  l'OrphĂ©us vous ĂȘtes un peu en retrait de tout ça, en restant Ă  proximitĂ©. L'accueil est chaleureux, le patron parle en français, et vous conseille sur les activitĂ©s. Le petit dĂ©j est parfait.

On the Rocks

Orpheus has a great position. Hotel owners great nothing too much trouble. We travelled in November so very quiet with lots of Giadini-Naxos closed for the winter. It suited us and we were very lucky with the weather and sea was still warm!

Great Hosts

We loved our stay. Our hosts Rosa and Hamid were very kind to us and made our stay a wonderful experience. We were there during one of the worst storms in the last few years, huge waves, sadly some destruction to neighboring restaurants, but not to this hotel. We would stay there again.

Et smĂžrhul i vankanten.

En lille uges ophold pÄ Orpheus var en oplevelse. Lidt a la Faulty Towers - et Êldre, lidt slidt familiedrevet hotel - men hvilken beliggenhed! Vi havde bestilt med balkon og havudsigt - og det mÄ man sige, vi fik! Ubeskriveligt at vÄgne op til Middelhavet fÄ meter fra morgenterrassen - og med stor morgenmadsterrase i stueetagen var oplevelsen komplet.

Palvelutaso hyvÀ ja tapahtui "lÀhes huomaamattomasti". Aamiainen varsin niukka, mutta riittÀvÀ. Yleisten tilojen siisteys hyvÀ. Huoneen kalusteet hiukan nuhjaantuneita, mutta siistejÀ. Huone siivottiin joka pÀivÀ. Kolmen kattohuoneen yhteinen terassi valtava, lÀhes 300 m2. Terassilta mahtavat nÀköalat, kuten myös muista hotellin huoneista. Hotellin uimaranta pieni, vaatimaton laavakivinen poukama. Kaikkiaan hoteli vastasi hyvin ennakko-odotuksia.

Fantastic stay

Lovely hotel in probably the best location in Giardini Naxos, right beside the sea but slightly outside the main centre of the town. This location means that it is quiet and peaceful and also benefits from plentiful free parking. It seems that parking elsewhere in the town could be quite difficult, so this is an important consideration if you are planning to hire a car. There were several good restaurants very near the hotel, and it was a pleasant 5-10 minute walk along the seafront to the main centre of the town. Our room was clean and bright and had a balcony with an amazing view right over the sea. Even though it was very hot the week we stayed, the air conditioning kept us nice and cool. Breakfast was served on a terrace just beside the sea and with a great view of Etna in the distance. Breakfast itself was a good selection of cereals, yoghurt, pastries, fresh fruit, cold meats and cheese. What really made our stay here special was the friendly and helpful owners who made us feel very welcome. This was our first visit to Sicily and we really enjoyed Giardini Naxos. The beach and the choice of restaurants were excellent and there is lots to see and do in the surrounding area.
