"I think this hotel is very very Japanese style for world people.it’s perfect."

"Lots of bugs and noisy at night. The staff was fantastic though!"

"Good location and fantastic staff. "

"Fantastic location, amazing river onsen and friendly helpful staff. "

"We had to walk through narrow winding steps to the room. If you have a large suitcase, you may have hard time. I expected a local Japanese family to welcome us because I was going to aske some advice and suggestions but it was a Chinese famly. So I did not ask them. Another thing we were not happy about was this Chinese lady asked my husband passport. She made a copy of it. Not only that I had to write my information on the paper and signed it. "Food quality and service was excellent."

"Amazing food, very comforting and relaxing"

"Excellent boutique hotel. It was beautiful inside and very intimate. The little cafe was cozy and had snacks all day long plus coffee and tea. There is a private onsen and little garden. I sadly missed the breakfast that they offered to us as i was so tired and comfy in the bed i had trouble getting up. The room was beautiful with great amenities and drinks for you. It was spotlessly cleaned. The manager was very friendly and quick to respond to messages. It is the type of place I personally...

"A beautiful Ryokan with super friendly and helpful staff. The room is spacious and has air conditioning, and a nice little balcony to look out at the river from. They include towels and yukata for the onsen baths which was a nice touch. This is the only place I want to stay in Gujo!"
