Methow River Lodge & Cabins

"A beautiful location—every room has a view of the lovely Methow River! We loved being able to walk downtown for shopping and food on a nice trail—we never had to drive anywhere!! We also loved the lodge-themed furniture—perfect for the setting. Our room was clean except for the floor which made our feet black so we washed it as best we could with a washcloth, told the front desk person about it but it was never washed. That and the mediocre breakfast are why we give 4 stars instead of 5."

"The design is impeccable and by a famous architect - Olson Kundig. We enjoyed every detail of the building and how close it is to nature. Such a tranquil moment sitting on the patio looking out to the vast grassland and nearby mountains. Shower and bathroom are remote. Walking to them is easy. Food option is limited and you can’t cook, so come prepared with food. There is fridge and microwave in the hut."

"The property itself is great. The room was spacious and the facility gets high marks. I was only able to stay one night as we were just passing through, but I would recommend Sun Mountain Lodge to others. Our visit was only clouded by the nearby fires made going outside a bit of a hazard due to the smoke."
