"The hotel is in a good location. The bed was comfortable and clean. Fixtures and fittings are a bit dated and could use a refurb - especially the bathrooms. There was a strong smell on cigarette smoke on the floor and rooms, which i mentioned to housekeeping and was advised a guest might have been smoking, but it was more that than. Generally, this was good comfortable hotel and it was decent value for the price."

"Very nice place! Clean, safe, great staff, nice kitchen to use. Large rooms. Compound that includea a small garden. And convenient location (12 minute walk to Avondale shopping center - with great "flea market" behind for cheaper clothes/goods & tons of great Africa crafts/gifts). ... Wifi a bit spotty"
