"We had a fantastic few days at Shieldhill Farmhouse with our extended family. Everything was clean and tidy and we all felt at home the minute we walked through the door. There were lots of little extra things such as toys for the children, recommendations for restaurants and takeaways, and goodies on arrival which were lovely. It's a big open farmhouse, and Scotland isn't known for it's tropical weather so we were a little chilly (even in August!) but we just popped a jumper and slippers on...

"Spent the weekend here as a group for my sisters hen weekend. The photographs don’t do the facility justice. The house was amazing with so much character!! The staircase, aga and fire were fantastic!! Set in such a peaceful space with excellent grounds for kids and big ‘kids’ to play games. Plenty of space and rooms were an amazing size and comfortable! Would def book again for a large group activity weekend!! "
