"Serious problem on phone when trying to enter the building due to the lady on line unable to explane that the room key and front door keys were in the lock box. I discussed this with the manager the following day and he accepted that the lady did have problems in explaining things. Note that anyone arriving without an operating telephone would not be able to get the code for the lock box!!! "

"The staff were some of the best we have ever met and met our needs perfectly. They ensured we had a room that was suitable and went the extra mile to achieve this so a big thank you. The property is in the process of being updated but this didn't affect our stay except perhaps to see how well it appears to be going and I'm sure when this is finished they will have a hotel to be proud of. They have only owned this hotel for about 6 months and it is obvious they are making huge efforts to update it."

"We were extremely happy with our stay at The Mill Forge it’s our 4th time staying there and it was absolutely a treat Room was so spacious comfortable and had everything you can expect Beds are very comfortable bathroom very spacious Check In was easy and the staff friendly and make you feel most welcome With it being only a few miles from Gretna it makes it very convenient "
