"Our stay at this sweet, historic little cabin could not have been better. The hosts were friendly and helpful, cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, and the surroundings were quiet, rustic, and beautiful. "We enjoyed our recent stay at the La Quinta Hotel in Boone. Beautifully and tastefully updated rooms and property. The buffet breakfast was excellent, our room and the common areas were clean comfortable. The bed excellent and the staff was helpful and efficient. Only wish the ac/heat unit in room was not so loud as it shut down then restarted, waking us up during the night, the unit looks old and ready for update. And the constant loud fan in the bathroom with no way to turn off and have the light on was an issue for us. Never encountered that before. But that being said, I would recommend this hotel and would return, next remembering to bring my bathing suit to enjoy the inviting indoor pool and hot tub."
