"I had to chase to get access to the building - woman on mobile remotely having conversations with other people. Had flagged my check in details had not come but told me it would come. Basically, they had overbooked the rooms but did not tell us and gave us a single room hoping we would not notice. We did. When I asked for the room we had booked was told it was Expedia's fault, all the rooms are booked and basically spent 3 hours waiting an outcome. Expedia rebooked us to another hotel which was equally awful. Bad experience overall"

"We stayed here as a stopover during a road trip. I called ahead to let the hotel know we would arrive very late because our luggage was delayed at the airport. Although this was noted, when we arrived at 4 AM we were told our room had been cancelled. After I explained the situation, the receptionist eventually gave us the room, but the interaction felt more like asking for a favor than checking into a confirmed booking. After delayed luggage, a 3.5-hour night drive, and no sleep, this was not a great welcome. Parking was limited, so I had to park quite far away. Getting to the room was also inconvenient, requiring an elevator down, a long walk, and then another elevator up. On the positive side, the room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice port view. The breakfast area was pleasant, and the breakfast was very good. We might stay again for a one-night road trip stop, but the arrival experience and room access could definitely be improved."

"The hotel has a well equipped gym and a sauna and an amazing breakfast, really very yummy. There were a lot of GF options but unfortunately they were stale as had been left out a bit too long - GF very quickly softens or becomes stale so it can be tricky, but I really did appreciate that there were options with a GF dedicated toaster. All staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a little bit small if you have a lot of luggage, but for us it was fine. Within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. You can park outside the hotel but only for 3 hours. There is a much better car park just across the road and to the left. We would definitely stay here again."
