Great hotel, awful check in

This was the second time we stayed at the FREIgeist north. It is a beautiful hotel and Appartment complex, breakfast is great, parking underneath the hotel and very beautifully designed (former Sartorius location where I worked for many years). However the check in was awful and a very bad start into our Germany trip. We felt not like paying guests but rather given a chance to stay at the FREIgeist. It was a complex and diminishing, arrogant experience.

Newly developed quiet and clean neighborhood. Simple but high quality modern, innovative design. Comfortable mattress. Adequate appliances. (You can't ask for more, but it would be great if there were lace curtains too in addition to the already equipped blackout curtains.)

FreiGeist Homes var designat men väldigt minimalistiskt. Uppfyllde inte förväntningarna. Duschen tillgänglighets anpassad och ytan väldigt stor, men på bekostnad av att det på ena sidan av dubbelsängen endast var 30 cm att ta sig i säng sidledes! I änden av de 39 cm var en öppen utan dörr halv garderob med två utdragslådor mot sängen och ett safe - otillgängligt! Endast 1 fåtölj och 1 sittpuff. Inget skohorn. Det s k köket dåligt utrustat. Bristande belysning. Säng ok. Rymligt garage.

Vilodag under körning Frankrike till Sverige, passar detta bekväma och prisvärda boende halvvägs utmärkt. Göttingen en intresserant gammal universitets stad med många namnkunniga forskare som verkat här. Stadsmuseet var dock stängt denna regniga lördag. Däremot blev morgonkaffet på det välkända konditoriet Cron+Lantz en fin återblick.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Der einzige Nachteil war die nicht funktionierende Klimaanlage, da man das Fenster aufgrund des Strassenlärms nicht öffnen konnte. Unbedingt Zimmer nach hinten nehmen
