Dramatic coastal cliffs meet the Pacific along this rugged stretch where jet boats zip up the Rogue River. Spend mornings beachcombing for agates, then head to Jerry's Rogue Jets for an afternoon of wildlife spotting and splashy rapids.
Loved the many beaches in the area. It's a shame there aren't more restaurant and shopping options. But for the fishing and boating crowd, this looks promising. Some of the most breathtaking beaches and views.

Definitely visit the scenic spots & beaches south of Gold Beach. They are not necessarily visible from the Highway, but it's worth driving into each spot for amazing views.

It's a small OR town - not a whole lot happening but very charming people and enough restaurants to get you thru the trip!
