"While I was waiting to check in, the kind older couple before me were informed that their room was ready except he hadn’t made one of the beds in their unit. The sweet woman said she could help make the bed and he didn’t argue. She is a paying customer making her own bed..ok. Then after a long winded check in he was adamant about escorting me to the room because he was very “proud of the property” upon opening the door of my room, which he entered first, I was shocked that the place was not cleaned at ALL! The unit was dirty, the toilet and bathroom, especially and their were weird stains on the floors. He told me that he was the manager of the motel and also housekeeper and he would have the place cleaned in 15 minutes. I have worked for many years as a manager in hotels and I have never had such a creepy experience. "

"This was a cheap, unsophisticated hotel. However, it was spotless, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was extremely strong (both in heating and cooling). The included breakfast, which was oatmeal, biscuits w/sausage gravy, a waffle iron, toasts, jams, juices and yogurts (and a coffee and tea station) was more than enough for us. The staff was also extremely nice. Excellent hotel. Probably some of the best value I've ever gotten while traveling."

"Our room on the main floor was classified as non-smoking. The room wreaked of cigarette smoke. The staff simply dismissed our complaints. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Night/morning clerk was very short and seemed annoyed with my friendliness in the morning."
