"I had to upgrade my room because the first room smelled stale and didn’t seem clean. Also there was almost no ocean view when there was supposed to be a partial ocean view. The good options could have been better but the staff (especially in the bar ) were excellent. I most enjoyed my unobstructed ocean view and the exterior amenities such as rooftop pool and outside eating areas. It didn’t feel like a luxury hotel. "

"Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick in der obersten Etage. Zimmer war sauber und wurde täglich gereinigt. Ich glaub, ich hab noch keine so gut in einem Hotel geschlafen wie im Java. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich. Ich bin Vegetarierin und habe mich sehr über die Auswahl beim Essen gefreut. Es fehlten jedoch an manchen Speisen Beschilderungen, da war ich mir dann unsicher, ob es vegetarisch ist. Gleiches auch morgens beim Joghurt/Quark. Der Weg zum Flughafen mit dem Taxi ging schnell,...

"I stayed here for two nights on a business trip, and for that purpose it was… fine. Functional, but not somewhere I’d pick for a holiday. My room opened straight onto the pool, which was a nice touch, but the pool itself is pretty average and overlooked by a very unattractive adjoining building. The room was okay overall, though one towel was slightly stained. The TV had no remote control, and the fridge wasn’t cold, just made a loud noise, so I had to unplug it. Not ideal. The biggest issue...

"Super schönes sauberes Zimmer, Dusche und Toilette sind getrennt voneinander, das Waschbecken ist im Zimmer, schöner großer Spiegel, schöner Balkon. Unser Zimmer war zur Straßenseite, in der Früh mit Fenster offen doch etwas laut. Aber das sind Kleinigkeiten :) Halbpension ist zu empfehlen. Hatten 2 Abende und es gab unterschiedliches Essen. Das einzige was etwas schade war, man kann nur innen essen. Es gibt keine Sitzplätze draußen."

"Lovely property. Lovely staff. We were the only non-German at the hotel and resort area - not an issue except it felt like little Germany and not Spain. Breakfast was great but no-one ever checked us off a list so we could have got it for free lol! Great air con in room. It was nice and noisy as it drowned out any people and door noises so we slept well as beds were great! Had to pay €4 per night for the safe!! Never done that in over 30 years travelling! Pool towels available from reception.....
