"The size of the room was good and the staff was excellent. I cant remember her name but we checked in at 1am Saturday 8/15 and she was extremely helpful. The only complaint was the water pressure was low and the bathroom definitely needs a touch up. GREAT for the price."
"The room (or suite, I suppose) was nice and homey. The room featured dishes, various cooking utensils (such as a colander, a whisk, and a mixing bowl) a dishwasher, and a full refrigerator with freezer. Each trash receptacle I saw included separate recycling bins and the breakfast was simple but hot and accommodating.
My primary issue was with the service; while making my reservation, I asked about a crib and received no response. The afternoon before check-in, I called to inquire about a crib and I was told the representative I was speaking with would talk to a custodian and then call me back. I received a call back the next day, 9 minutes after check-in time. Now, I obviously don't live in Carbondale, so why the staff believed that contacting me that late to let me know they couldn't accommodate us was appropriate, I don't know. Beyond that, I believe they need larger trash receptacles in the rooms, especially since they only have room service every other day. Overall, the stay was pleasant and affordable!"
"Excellent breakfast, super clean, comfortable beds, cold A/C (it was 102 degrees outside), and a very friendly staff! We would choose this hotel again if in the area. :)"
"I saw a lot of bad reviews about this location and I didn't experience any of them. Staff was helpful, room was clean, bed was comfy. It wasn't a five star hotel, nor does it deserve lower than 3. It's older, and worn in some areas. I'd rate between a 3 and 4. Definitely could use remodeling."
