"The house was a lovely old Cretan house renovated to a high standard, and Popi was a wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable host - really friendly and full of suggestions of where to go next. You will need to have a car to get around as it is not at all central, and do not expect a modern building - but it was full of character and the aircon worked very well, so in my eyes it was perfect! I would happily stay here again, and hope to do so some day in the coming years."

"Close to the beach & the airport Karteros Hotel is in a great location. It is also 20 mins by bus from the port. WiFi is good, the room is large with lots of plug ports & a good sized bathroom. Breakfast had a wide selection of fruit, salad, hot items, pastries, fruit juice, hot drinks & more. The pool is large but not heated so can be chilly. A lovely one night stay. "

"We had a great stay. Hotel was sparkling clean. Lovely pool and simple but very good breakfast with freshest vegetables and feta every day. Coffee machine worked well and the options for coffee were fantastic. Plenty of parking near hotel, and a nice village and great beach in walking distance were of course what we came for. I wish we stayed even longer. "

"Saubere Zimmer. Minibar gut gefüllt. Pools sind mit Salzwasser befüllt. 4 Poolbereiche wobei viele Liegen schon ab 8 mit Handtüchern belegt werden. Ruhige Gäste, keine Animation. Große Poolbar mit guter Mittagskarte. Essensauswahl im normalen Restaurant relativ klein. Teilweise Schlangen beim Essen und oft an den Bars. Kein Poolservice. Mitarbeiter nicht unfreundlich, aber auch nicht zuvorkommend und freundlich. Zimmer sehr hellhörig und Matratzen zu weich. Fluglärm vom Airport."

Eine wunderschöne Gartenlandschaft. Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen und wenn ich wieder in der Gegend bin, würde ich hier wieder übernachten."
