"The hotel was very good. The overall ambience is very pleasant,and the seating areas are great for relaxing. Breakfast choices are very varied and of high quality. The South Bank Bistro was enjoyed for an evening meal. We used the Arena Leisure facilities and found the pool, sauna etc very good. Our only slightly less positive comment would be that our room was too warm and did not have A/C"

"Egan‘s guest house was beautiful and convenient for our brief one night stay in Dublin. The drawbacks were the size of the room which was absolutely minuscule. For 2 adult travellers carrying simply carry-on bags, it was beyond tight. Not enough room to get into more than one bag at a time, unless you took up the entire bed. The bed itself was also very, very small."

"I love this place on the Irish Sea! What a beautiful hotel. I loved walking down to the beach and spending time on the spacious patio. My room was perfect. Goes to Howth or into Dublin center was so easy by bus or train. I spent the week here with my four grown kids and my granddaughter, and was joined several times by family especially at our dinner of 20 held at the hotel. Thanks for a memorable time!"
