The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. The hotel also has a pretty view and a nice staff. It is possible to walk to town from the hotel (about 25 minutes), although the path is interesting. It's also easy and inexpensive to take a cab to town."

Everyone we met from checking in to our departure was friendly and helpful, even using a translation device to chat about the fascinating history of Veliko Tarnovo. The location is in the Old Town and in a good location for sightseeing, cafés and restaurants. Our room had a lovely view over the atmospheric orange -tiled rooftops to green hills beyond.
