The hotel has a charming and cozy feel to it. Located in a pedestrian strip right by the ocean, guests have access to what is basically an exclusive part of the beach, with sunbeds available for use (free of charge). The restaurant is very nice, with some tables placed on a relatively high deck by the water, which makes for some very pleasant meals. Despite being a Michelin rated restaurant, we thought the dinner was quite underwhelming. Breakfast on the other hand was amazing, with excellent variety in the best "Swedish" style, including muesli, nuts and grains, fresh fruits and filtered coffee. Overall we had a very relaxing stay at Marco Polo after our week-long road trip around Croatia. The area has some very nice restaurants and bars.

kanonhotell nära strand

Vi var ett par som spenderade 1 vecka på detta mycket väl organiserade hotell vi fick ett varmt välkomnade när vi kom personalen är väldigt service minded och vänliga, läget är också jättebra ett kliv utanför hotellet så har du havet, stranden är väldigt liten och den lutar men det fungerade bra. Dom har en utsökt Restaurang med mycket god mat, frukosten saknar inget, mycket bra måste jag säga, det enda jag kan klaga på är WI-FI på rummet det funkade inte alls, påtalade detta och fick förklarat att vårt rum låg lite dumt till, och det är ok, städningen av rummet var dock under all kritik, vi hade sand på golvet från dag1, och vi la en bit snöre precis vid papperskorgen i rummet 2 dagen och den låg fullt synlig hela veckan, och det är inte ok, ingen dammsugning eller svabbning kan ha förekommit. Men i det stora hela så är vi nöjda. PS. Sängarna var också mycket sköna och det är ett extra pluss. Så tack Marco Polo och Stippe för en fantastisk vecka.

Very Nice hotel, close to everything

Hotel staff and owner of hotel was nice and friendly. Breakfast was super, but all food in restaurant was very good. Different tours was arranged during the week, all interesting. Beach, bars and restaurants close to hotel. In all a perfect hotel with a perfect location.

Kleines Familienhotel in Top-Lage / super Personal

Wir haben leider kein Seaview-Zimmer und kein großes Zimmer mehr buchen können, da ausgebucht. Aber das kleine Zimmer war voll okay und hatte Balkon. Das Hotel ist super gelegen und hat auch Pool (wobei dies nicht nötig wäre). Von Gardac aus kann man gut auch andere Strände und ruhige Buchten anfahren. Der Ausflug mit dem Boot (vom Hotel organisiert) war super!!!

Das Hotelzimmer ist hübsch und sauber, die Betten könnten bequmer sein, das gratis w-lan im Zimmer kaum leistung, der Fernsehen hat auch immer wieder unterbrüche rauschen, ansonsten Balkon ist ok Im Badezimmer ist der Spiegel leider nicht über das Lavabo sondern an der Seite und somt das Rasiersen erschwert wen man seinen Bart stylen will auch das Licht ist schwach. Das Personal ist nett und hilfsbereit. Standard im Zimmer entspricht eher den 3 Sterne Hotel

Tolle Lage

Lage Super. Hotel sehr sauber und das Personal sehr bemüht und freundlich. Unser Zimmer war jedoch keine 4 Sterne wert da zu klein und sehr alte Möbel. Man hat versucht es etwas aufzuwerten indem man einige Sachen erneuert hat. W-Lan sehr schlecht. Hotel ist mit Kindern nicht zu empfehlen da dort sehr viel Wert auf Ruhe gelegt wird. Frühstück War gut aber für 4 Sterne nicht abwechslungsreich genug. Preisleistungsverhältnis : etwas zu teuer. Insgesamt gutes 3 Sterne Hotel.

Uitstekend en gezellig kleinschalig hotel

Gezellig, schoon en goed onderhouden hotel. Wij hadden de standaard kamer met meer dan voldoende ruimte en een goed werkende airco. Het enige minpuntje was de beperkte ruimte van het toilet. Ontbijt was uitgebreid maar niet spectaculair. Het bijhorende restaurant is uitstekend en niet duur. Er is een mooie selectie aan wijnen uit eigen land. De bediening is vriendelijk, adequaat en gezellig.

Great boutique hotel right across from the beach

The service is exceptional and the staff is excellent. My only concern recommending to others would be that the bathroom has a bit of an awkward layout and might be challenging for a large person to move around in.

Dejligt og hyggeligt hotel

We had a really nice stay at the Boutique Hotel Marco Polo. We had a room on the 3rd (top floor) with a small balcony and an ocean view. The room was large and partly divided with the bed in one part and a TV plus two couches in the other. Everything was clean and very satisfactory. The location of the hotel is right in front of the ocean and along the street where all the restaurants and other hotels are located. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which was well equipped, and we also dinned at the restaurant one night. The prices are a little higher, than the general touristy restaurants, but the food we got was also much better and completely worth the price. The only negative to mention is that we could not park our car directly at the hotel, but instead parked it at a parking lot some hundred meters away for which the hotel paid. Despite the parking I will definitely recommend this hotel, it was a great place for us to enjoy our vacation.

Nice family owned hotel close to the sea

We were excited by the ideas of the hotel owner about how to make the interior nice and comfortable - fireplace on the ground floor in the reading room, nice terrace on the top, jacuzzi, fitness room. Also the hotel staff was helpful and friendly.
