"If you are looking for just a bed and shower this is your place. My husband and I live an hour away but we were in town for the Megan Woods concert and we didn't want to drive home afterwards. Unknowingly the hotel was a mile away from the school so that was a perk! I didn't want to pay out a lot of money for a fancy hotel when I have a beautiful house so we weren't looking for amenities. "This hotel is one of the dirtiest rank and dankest hotels that I've ever stayed in. The manager here is rude disrespectful and thoughtless. Those roaches and bed bugs which I have pictures of. The rooms are cleaned surface only they have a pungent odor tone and a thick film of it who knows what. My suggestion is to stay anywhere but here and the breakfast is not buffet bare Bones stale bland food."

"When we first arrived, we noticed it was an older hotel. Front desk was kind, efficient and professional. Then came the room. Oh boy, old white dirty walls broken air conditioner vents, rusted and chipped front of the refrigerator, 1 of the beds looked like someone else had already been sitting on it. Called and asked for a clean room. Office staff was accommodating. Moved me to a second room. Second room had red spots (splatter) on the wall next to the sink which would have been right next...

"The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The staff were super helpful and friendly. It's within walking distance of tons of shopping and dining. The hotel bar looks out over the lake and is tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The fitness center has a universal machine, free weights, treadmill and more, that was an added bonus for us. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Als tussenstop op onze reis richting Crystal River en Clearwater. Prima kamer; vriendelijke dame die ons incheckte; klein zwembad maar prima voor even verkoeling. Op het complex wat zeer groot is zitten diverse restaurants en pleintjes met live muziek. Ontbijt prima, een kanttekening laat de cupjes boter UIT de koeling, nu waren het net betonblokken waar je niks mee kon."

"The property is new and well maintained and the staff was very friendly. The bedroom was small with insufficient room for suitcases and there was only one suitcase rack. The bath was very large with much wasted space. IF the bath had a better layout the bedroom could easily have been larger and more comfortable. There was not a coffee maker or ice bucket which did not bother us, but it bothered our traveling companions in their room."

"My sister & I went to Mt. Dora for a girls trip and after looking at several decent B&Bs that were fully booked, the Lakeside Inn came up as available. I love old hotels & houses so it was right up my alley. The price was very good for a two queen (or double) room. The room was spacious, which was nice, but there were several issues that were unacceptable to me, even at a decent price. I know it’s an old hotel, but they really need to update the rooms.
