Very nice hotel in a great spot. Very clean a d has everything you could need including an amazing shower, a great bed and pillows. The self check-in was easy and there was great communleadung up to the visit and instructions to check in and enter the room and check out. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

The hotel appeared to have been recently renovated. Furniture was new as were the linens. The staff was extremely helpful. The rooms all had an outdoor balcony and the views were terrific.

It’s clear that this hotel has been recently and thoughtfully upgraded. It’s in a great location for everything in Grand Marais as well as close to several hiking trails. The room was clean and it’s clear that the staff cares. There are a few finishing touches that I would recommend to make this place amazing: A privacy latch on the exterior door that guests can secure once inside, a hook for the hand towel, a couple of hooks inside the bathroom for towels or clothing, trim-holes filled and painted, and a picture or piece of art on the wall so it doesn’t feel quite so sterile. My guess is that with all that has been done so well, these things are planned but just not yet finished. I would stay here again and recommend it to others. I wish them the very best.

Hey there fellow travelers! This place is all about location location location! It is being updated nicely! Website could be more helpful, but know there IS a small fridge, but no microwave. There IS a hairdryer (helpful for most with long hair). Shampoo and body wash, make-up remover packets, Keurig and k-cups provided. No conditioner. All in all, a great home base location for all the top things in the area! Would definitely recommend and stay again!!
