"Chicken went well but when we got to our room it smelt dank like water had been sitting up in there for a minute. The only good thing about our stay is we were at the end of the hall right next to a door. The last night we stayed there. My husband got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night in the bottom left part of the porcelain tank on the toilet broke off and started spewing water everywhere. It was fortunate that he knew how to turn the water off because the attendant at the front desk probably would have known how to do that. The management was accusational when it was reported. My husband got cut but nobody asked if you was okay. Nobody asked if we were okay. They were more concerned about getting the toilet changed out for the quilt show. That was about to start up the next day. So much so that before I checked out that day. Darcy, the front desk attendant sent maintenance to the room at 8:30 and then again at 9:30 to get the toilet out of there. When I requested that he wait until the 11:00 checkout, she comped an attitude with me stating that we were supposed to be moved to a different room that she if she had known we were in the room she wouldn't have sent down there even though my husband had called from the room that morning to ask what time check- out was. "NIce Clean Room, did not show hot tub on website though, would have liked to know up front that the pool had a hot tub. Hot Breakfast was a great plus."
"Desk staff did well. Asked for quiet room & placed on 3rd floor, opposite from interstate, best they could have done. Walls do not block sound & could hear TV from another room. Room was clean. Lobby smelled like a kennel. Remodeling on 1st floor & lots of construction dust. Breakfast bar limited options & not tended well. Only fruit was apples."
"We booked a room from hotel .com for 89,first night no problem, wanted to stay another night so they checked us out just to check right back in,no problem, so we get back on hotel .Com and got it again for 89 a night, the lady said no it's wrong and she doesn't understand how we got it for that cheap,we said hotel .Com and she acted has if we were doing something wrong, huff and puffed and said ok I'll do it,just for me to get back to the room to see that somehow my card was charged 129 for the room, not very cool at all,we simply used hotel.
Com and she didn't believe me even though we showed here the web site and what it said,so them or hotel.com need to communicate better,we have stayed here at least 5 times in the last 2 years, now never again,"
