"There was no hot water for the “hot tub”, the hair dryer started smoking, the ironing board was dirty, the tv didn’t work. The bed was comfortable."

The first room’s toilet handle was disconnected from the flush unit, so I had to trouble shoot after working a 15 hour day. The second room had a strong smell of mildew/sourness. The Internet was okay, but not great. Overall, this was worth the price at the time but there are a few things I would encourage the property management to invest in."

"As always the Grey Gull did not disappoint in beautiful location, staff and all round amenities. As a 20 plus year returning customer who usually books a one bedroom, this time I opted for studio on the upper floor. The porch is not private if there is someone staying in room next door. Instead of a solid privacy divider, it is wide slats providing little privacy from other rooms balcony. My only complaint is that you do not know this prior to booking as most other rooms have private balconies or patios. I would still give Grey Gull a 10!"
