"This is exactly the sort of experience I seek when visiting the UK. It's an "only in England" experience. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left I was absolutely enraptured. The proprietors ran out to greet me to show me a better, safer place to park my motorcycle. They checked me in, showed me to my room, and have me the rundown on local dining options. "This pub is located in the very centre of the town an thus walking distance from most attractions and restaurants. The place is clean though rather basic with few amenities. No breakfast is on offer. Our problem was that the bedrooms appear to have been built into this historic building with little or no sound proofing.
