"The room was very clean, but cold, receptionist gave us another room as couldn’t get heating to work, had same problem with the next room. She couldn’t get it to work either but brought us a heater which warmed the room very quickly. She was very good & came back later to check it had warmed up. Would definitely recommend hotel to others"

"The staff were brilliant and made our stay so enjoyable. Food was excellent both for the breakfast and evening meal. Our Room was cleaning and comfortable with a nespresso machine, premium teabags and fresh milk available from a fridge in the landing were welcome additions. The pub felt warm and cosy was festooned with lovely Christmas decorations. "Lady in reception was lovely and as it was a quiet time of the month she kindly gave me an upgrade. The room was spacious and warm. Nice little bar and a great space for dining and breakfast. I dined in at the hotel and the guiness pie and mash was great, although could've done with a small amount of veg. No problem with parking, lots of space. If staying in the area, I would stay here again."

"Very nice modern hotel. Nicely decorated. Hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the historic city centre in a quiet residential area. Has restaurant, bar and a good cafe. Room was very nice Good size, loads of storage space, very good overhead shower. Good size fridge. Leisure facilities include a long but narrow swimming pool with spa jets along one side, steam room and sauna (currently being refurbished so not in use).
